Terms and Conditions

NOTICE OF ACCEPTANCE By using this site, you signify your assent to these Terms and Conditions. If you don not agree to all of these Terms and Conditions of use, do not use this site! My Liver may revise and update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued usage of My Liver will mean you accept those changes. INSTRUCTIONS My Liver is easy to use. Start by talking with the chatbot directly on Messenger. Assuming you are of legal drinking age in your country of residence, the chatbot will interact with you and provide insights about your social drinking behaviour. This chatbot is programmed to provide information about alcohol consumption and responsible drinking. MY LIVER DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL OR LEGAL ADVICE. My Liver is not designed to help consumers overcome an alcohol addiction or to avoid criminal liability, but rather to educate them about their alcohol consumption and change their drinking habits in the mid/long term. My Liver is not intended to be substitute for professional medical or legal advice. All information provided back to the user is provided for indicative and informational purposes only and shall in no way be interpreted as medical or legal advice. Such information shall under no circumstances replace a consultation with a licensed professional in the medical or legal field when required. A physician or lawyer must always be consulted for medical/legal advice and for answers to medical/legal questions. This chatbot provides an assessment of your blood alcohol concentration (BAC), notably based on your gender, body weight and the time of your last meal, but it is not intended as a scientific tool capable of providing accurate data. The My Liver tracking system is based on a person’s BAC. On average, each glass increases the BAC by 0.20 g to 0.25 g/litre of blood (even more for women, young people and the elderly). The BAC reaches its peak approximately 90 minutes after the last glass (if consumed with a meal) or 45 minutes on an empty stomach. It then takes approximately 1.5 hours to eliminate each glass. Your actual BAC may be lower or higher than indicated by this chatbot due to various data such as genetic factors, hormonal changes, physical condition or level of fatigue, which are not taken into account by My Liver when calculating your BAC. My Liver is not an artificial intelligence device able to analyze your responses. The result generated based on the information provided by the user is to be used for indicative purposes only. My Liver is not a means of determining whether you are within the legal limits of BAC in your jurisdiction or whether it is safe to drive after consuming alcohol. It is never safe to drink and drive. Please keep in mind that the peak BAC is reached approximately 45 minutes after consumption and your body eliminates 0.15 g/litre of blood per hour. Test yourself with a certified blood alcohol level test if you want to know your actual rate. DISCLAIMER THE OWNER, DEVELOPER AND PROMOTER OF MY LIVER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENTNESS, COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS, TIMELINESS OF CONTENT, NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTIES’ RIGHTS AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. MY LIVER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES’ PERSONAL INJURY/WRONGFUL DEATH RESULTING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE MY LIVER OR ANY DECISIONS MADE BY THE USER BASED ON THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH THE CHATBOT.
